To retrieve and send mail with your POP3 email
accounts follow these easy steps:
- Open Microsoft Outlook 2000.
- Choose the Tools menu
and then select Accounts.

- Click the Add button and then select Mail.
- Enter your name. This is the name that people will see when
they receive an e-mail from you.
- Choose Next.
- If prompted, choose I already have an e-mail address that I
would like to use.
- Enter your complete E-mail address.
Example: yourname@yourwebsite.com
- Choose Next.
- Incoming Server should be set to use POP3 by default.
If not, choose POP3.
- Enter pop.everyone.net for the Incoming Mail Server
Name.
- Enter smtp.everyone.net for the Outgoing Mail Server
Name.
- Choose Next.
- Enter your complete email address for the
Account Name.
Example: yourname@yourwebsite.com
- Enter your email account password for the Password.
- If you want to have your password saved, so that you don't
have to type it when checking e-mail, place a check in the
Remember password box.
- Secure Password Authentication should be unchecked by default.
If not, uncheck Log on using Secure Password Authentication
(SPA).

- Choose Next.
- Choose Finish to save your settings.
- Choose the Mail tab.
- Select (i.e. highlight) the pop.everyone.net Account and then
choose the Properties button.
- Choose the Servers tab.
- Check the box My Server requires authentication.
- Choose the Apply button.
- Choose the OK button.
- Choose the Close button.
